Preservation and Maintenance of Water Pump

(1) Shanxi submersible pump should be kept in the warehouse, the warehouse should be dry and ventilated, open yard, but the ground should be dry, the bottom of the pile should be 30~40cm high. Water and wind and sand invade people and cause corrosion. Protect the motor from moisture. Water pumps without motors can also be stored in material sheds or in the open air. They should also be covered tightly and firmly with rainproof equipment to prevent rain.

(2) The suction and drain ports of the pump body should be opened to keep the inside dry, and there should be no water in the pump body.

(3) The inlet and outlet of the pump and the inlet and outlet of the water pipe shall be blocked with wooden covers or stoppers to prevent rainwater and sundries from invading. If there is water inside, it shall be removed and the inlet and outlet flange surface shall be coated with grease or varnish to prevent rust.

(4) the motor and electrical appliances to prevent moisture.

(5) Shanxi submersible pumps should be checked regularly if they are stored for a long time, once every six months in the warehouse and once every three months in the open air. If quality damage is found, the following maintenance measures can be taken:

① The main bearing of the water pump should be injected with lubricant and the oil cup should be tightly covered.

② If the paint on the pump falls off, it should be repainted.

③ The exposed thread surface of exposed shaft and anchor bolt shall be coated with anti-rust grease.

(6) The longest storage period of Shanxi submersible pump should not exceed one and a half years.
